We’ll start with an initial consultation, in which we discuss the psychology behind our relationship with food and how overeating is so intrinsically linked to our stress levels and how we manage them. You’ll leave the session with a thorough understanding of the pyschology behind why we overeat and how hypnotherapy will work to adapt any negative thought patterns surrounding your relationship with food.

I will give you a relaxation recording to listen to each night before bed which will help reduce your overall stress levels and improve your quality of sleep (also intrinsically linked to your appetite and threshold for overeating).

The following week we’ll pop you on the couch to begin the programme of treatment. Each week we will set a small, achievable goal to work on and take it from there. Hypnotherapy for weight loss normally requires six and 12 sessions during which clients have been known to start to experience a steady rate of weight loss.
